We offer obedience training sessions several times per year, offering puppy to advanced obedience work. Classes are held on Tuesday nights, and most sessions are 8 weeks long. Our instructors are mainly members of our club who have many years of experience in obedience training and competition.

We offer generously spaced, matted rings for comfortable training. The Carolina Dog Training Club's instructors use positive training methods. We do not use harsh corrections, but rather food treats, toys, touch, and praise to motivate the dog. We recommend the use of regular buckle collars, although the use of training collars, head harnesses or Sensation Harnesses (R) may be recommended after individual evaluation. The goal of our classes is to train the owner to train the dog.
Applications and payments must be received one week before the beginning of each session. Classes are filled on a first come basis and receipt of your check is what holds your spot in class. Email is the quickest way to reach us, but we do not accept forms through email: click here
